There’s nothing better than spending the holidays in Michigan with family and friends, except getting to capture the moments with them. We had a great indoor and outdoor session (brrr!) on the shores of Gourdneck Lake – from boathouse backdrops to playing with pirates – many thanks to the Czupryn and Martin families for sharing their holiday with us.

A fun and creative shoot, we had such a great time introducing Seattle fashion-blogger, event planner, and radio host to life in front of the (fashion!) lens. Mollie was a natural, showcasing product with poise – with wardrobe compilations from her “fav’s” list including some ultra-fabulous shoes. Wine, cheese, champagne, and a great artistic team brought these images to life with ease.

I spent Saturday afternoon with the Richards family. It didn’t take me too long to realize that this family was no stranger to the camera. Tracie and Jeff share three adorable girls: Ava, Gia, and Lola. The girls were all color co-ordinated and have obviously practised their super model poses.
We walked through Gilman Village in Issaquah which provided a variety of backdrops – from the beautiful store fronts to the great fall colors of the woods. To reward everyone for being such great models, we ended the day at Issaquah Coffee Company for hot chocolate and coffee.
Marc is a talented musician who has been with several bands over the last few years. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing Marc play and was excited when Marc contacted me to do photography for his upcoming solo project. Marc has recently ventured out on his own to explore more of his own sound and image. We had a great shoot this weekend with Seattle providing an edgy urban backdrop in addition to some fantastic studio shots. I’m looking forward to being a continuing part of this project.
